FAIRWORK Belgium is an organisation with more than 15 years of experience defending the employment rights of labour migrants, documented and undocumented, domestic workers and young au pairs in Belgium. Our services are completely free and our mission is to support victims of exploitation.
Through our helpdesk for domestic workers and au pairs, we offer individual assistance and information relating to your employment rights and the way in which you can enforce those rights. We put you in touch with the labour inspectorate and we can help you file a complaint against your employer and with the remainder of the process.
You can get in touch with us in Dutch, French, English and Spanish. If your language is not one of those listed, please ask a friend or acquaintance to phone for you.
Culturele activiteiten for au pairs only
During these activities, we might inform you about your rights as an au pair and the responsibilities of your host family. All our activities for au pairs are completely free of charge and are organised in English. Information about your rights can be provided in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.
If you need help or would like to take part in one of our activities, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us during our opening hours. Outside opening hours, leave a message and we’ll phone you back as soon as possible.
