FAIRWORK Belgium is an organisation with more than 20 years of experience defending the employment rights of labour migrants, documented and undocumented, domestic workers and young au pairs in Belgium. Our services are completely free and our mission is to support victims of exploitation.
Helpdesk
Through our helpdesk for domestic workers and au pairs, we offer individual assistance and information relating to your employment rights and the way in which you can enforce those rights. We put you in touch with the labour inspectorate and we can help you file a complaint against your employer and with the remainder of the process.
You can get in touch with us in Dutch, French, English and Spanish. If your language is not one of those listed, please ask a friend or acquaintance to phone for you.
Sunday activities for domestic staff
In addition to our helpdesk, we have established the empowerment project FAIRWORK Belgium for Domestic Workers, aimed at domestic workers and au pairs in Belgium. As part of this project, we organize Sunday activities, such as training sessions on labor rights and socio-cultural events. The activities are completely free and are conducted in both English and Spanish.
